Why choose ACHC for NDIS counselling?

One of the most important aspects of successful counselling is the relationship created between yourself as the client and the counsellor. Without the foundation built on trust, empathy, and genuine respect between the client and counsellor, counselling doesn't have much hope of success. ACHC is a collective of independent counsellors who have come together to provide a choice of counsellors under one roof. Like anything, we all have different tastes, preferences and warm to some people better than others. You deserve to find a counsellor who is a right fit for you and at ACHC it's our mission to ensure that you see the best counsellor for your personality and needs.

What can I get out of NDIS counselling?

That all depends on what you are wanting to achieve, counselling is an amazing space for you to

  • Have a safe place to unpack your feelings and worries without judgement.

  • Build confidence and self worth

  • Create life goals and be accountable for achieving them

  • Take the weight and burden off your shoulders by being authentically you without the fear of repercussions.

  • Improve your mental health and learn new ways to cope with emotions.

  • Learn ways to build on your current relationships and understand things from a different perspective.

How do I pick a counsellor?

That is up to you. Either you can make the decision on which highly qualified and experienced counsellor you would like to see, or you can contact us and provide the areas of expertise you are looking for and the type of personality you wish to seek in your counsellor which will allow us to match you with who we believe would be the best fit. If after the first session you decide that counsellor is not for you, that's ok you can try another counsellor until you feel comfortable.
